Welcome to the District 6 Home Page. District 6 is a member of the New York State Music Teachers Association. NYSMTA is a state affiliate of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), a professional association of music teachers consisting of local associations which maintain their own structure and program of activities while also participating in state, division and national activities. On this site we include our upcoming events, a host of useful sites for teachers and students, including theory, ear training, public domain music, and listening, and a copy of our newsletter.
